Lindsay is a senior majoring in Restoration and Management of Aquatic Ecosystems with an emphasis in water quality at Utah State University. She has had the opportunity to be involved in and conduct research related to water quality while at USU and plans to continue studying aquatic ecology at graduate school next fall. Lindsay was born in Phoenix Arizona and moved to Utah at a young age. She lived all over the state and attended high school in Kamas UT. After high school, she moved to Arizona and worked various jobs waitressing to support herself. After some time, Lindsay decided to apply to community college in Arizona to achieve her degree in nursing. After obtaining certificates she began working as an emergency tech in the local ER. During her course of study, she became increasingly aware of the issues facing the environment and became compelled to act. Turning her focus to Environmental Biology, she applied and was accepted to USU where her interest and passion has intensified. Joining the Quiney College of Natural Resources has helped Lindsay further focus her efforts and succeed in academics. She plans to graduate in the Spring of 2018.
