Thank you to everyone who attended the 11th Annual Salt Lake County Watershed Symposium! This free two-day conference encourages a comprehensive review of the current state of our watershed while creating learning opportunities for a diverse array of stakeholders. Sessions covered a broad range of topics on water quality and watershed issues with local, regional, and national relevance. Hosted by Salt Lake County Watershed Planning & Restoration.

Todd Stonely

Todd has worked for the Utah Division of Water Resources since 1998, first as an engineer in the River Basin Planning Section, then as its manager from 2002-2016. He is currently the Project Funding Section manager. Todd was the primary author of several major publications by the division, including the latest Utah State Water Plan, Utah’s M&I Water Conservation Plan (2003), and Weber River Basin Plan (2009). Todd also oversaw the production of five detailed planning studies on water reuse, conjunctive management of surface and ground water, drought, reservoir sedimentation, and leak detection. Since 2013, Todd has been working with experts in the field of water loss control to find ways to help train and assist water providers in this important area of need.
