This free two-day conference encourages a comprehensive review of the current state of our watershed while creating learning opportunities for a diverse array of stakeholders. Sessions covered a broad range of topics on water quality and watershed issues with local, regional, and national relevance. Hosted by Salt Lake County Watershed Planning & Restoration.

Rick Graham is Salt Lake County's Deputy Mayor & Chief Operations Officer. Rick first joined McAdams' team in April 2016 as Township & Metro Services Executive. Rick has a nearly 40 years of public service experience, including his previous position as Salt Lake City's Director of Public Services for 19 years where he was the city administrator over parks, street  and traffic planning and maintenance, sidewalks, snow removal, and sanitation.  While at Salt Lake City, Rick was also involved in planning and management of several significant public projects including the planning and construction of parks , construction of the Jordan River Trail system though Salt Lake City, planning for the 2002 Winter Olympics, construction of the Steiner Aquatic Center and Olympic Ice Sheets, project manager for the Sorenson Unity Center and The Leonardo, construction of the SL Regional Athletic Complex and creating the dog off-leash ordinance management plan for the city.</p><p> </p><p>Rick received his bachelor's degree from the University of Utah in Recreation Management. He lives in Salt Lake City with his wife Cathy Vail Graham and is the proud father of four children and five grandchildren. Rick and his family also run a nonprofit called Reaching Out Worldwide that engages local high school students to participate in global humanitarian efforts.
