Elizabeth Weight is the Regional Drought Information Coordinator for the Intermountain West and Southern Plains Drought Early Warning Systems of NOAA's National Integrated Drought Information System (NIDIS). Prior to joining NIDIS, Elizabeth worked with research institutes and non-profit organizations to improve water management in 14 countries in Asia and Africa.
