Thank you to everyone who attended the 11th Annual Salt Lake County Watershed Symposium! This free two-day conference encourages a comprehensive review of the current state of our watershed while creating learning opportunities for a diverse array of stakeholders. Sessions covered a broad range of topics on water quality and watershed issues with local, regional, and national relevance. Hosted by Salt Lake County Watershed Planning & Restoration.

I am an engineer by profession. I have recently graduated from USPCAS-W, Mehran UET, Jamshoro Sindh. During my masters I have been awarded a semester exchange visit to University of Utah, USA as a short term scholar. I am currently working as a research associate in an Australian funded project namely "Efficient Participatory Irrigation Institutions to Support Productive & Sustainable Agriculture in South Asia" where I get to interview and assist the farmers and organizations to make an efficient irrigation system. My passion is to eradicate poverty and provide opportunities for the employment in remote areas of Sindh. I am a co-founder of SAH (english translation: breath) foundation, that discourages child labor and provides opportunities for underprivileged children of education. I am also a member of "Society of water managers". I, also, possess an immense love for spoken poetry. I have been a regular member in Hello Poetry for two years and have been an elephant journal writer in the past. My odes and poems are mostly spoken word poetry that aims to move, educate and inspire people.
