As Deputy Director of the Recovery Programs Office at DNR, I am responsible for administering the Endangered Species Mitigation Fund - a fund created by the Utah Legislature to aid in the recovery of species listed under the Endangered Species Act, and to conserve non-listed native species in an effort to avoid additional federal listings. My professional background includes work in conservation, research and management in fish biology and aquatic ecology.
