Thank you to everyone who attended the 11th Annual Salt Lake County Watershed Symposium! This free two-day conference encourages a comprehensive review of the current state of our watershed while creating learning opportunities for a diverse array of stakeholders. Sessions covered a broad range of topics on water quality and watershed issues with local, regional, and national relevance. Hosted by Salt Lake County Watershed Planning & Restoration.

Anne Terry is the Site Manager for Tracy Aviary's upcoming Jordan River Nature Center. In developing this new nature center, Anne is particularly interested in learning about best practices for engaging community members in designing their nature center and its programming.

Anne got her start in environmental education by volunteering at a zoo in Texas at the age of thirteen and quickly realized it was the field for her. She has a B.S. in Biology from the University of Texas and completed the UTeach Natural Sciences program. She has completed Oregon State University's Free-choice Learning Certificate and is a Utah Certified Environmental Educator. Anne has worked at (and loved) Tracy Aviary since 2012. She is passionate about bike commuting and birding.
